Dr. Seuss book reviews

We had an amazing opportunity to "Read Across America" with the Indiana Pacers!

"The Indiana Pacers partnered with Fall Creek Elementary to celebrate Read Across America Day.  Read Across America Day celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday, and encourages all readers, both young and old, to pick up a book and read! This event featured members of the Pacers All-Star Reading Team. They shared their favorite stories with the children."

Boomer welcomed all of the kindergarten students from Fall Creek Elementary!

 Hats off to Dr. Seuss!

What our hearts feel and our minds know...

We had an open house one evening with our families.  Our students and parents created memories. The students used water colors to express their feelings.

On the left side, students painted what their hearts feel.

On the right side, students painted what their minds know.

February Provocations

We created heart mosaic artwork to display!

Can you make a love bug? Our kiddos love constructing their own love bugs!

The kiddos used tweezers to find small hearts hidden in a bucket full of rice! Each student documented how many they were able to find.

I see... I think,,,, I wonder...

Working on those fine motor skills.
